You do not need to be a member to attend and/or contribute at Gungahlin Community Council (GCC) public meetings (or any other GCC event). You must be a GCC member to be able to vote at an Annual General Meeting or Special General Meeting, or to nominate for a position on the GCC executive.
Whether you have been to a GCC public meeting recently or simply have an interest in all things related to Gungahlin, we encourage you to complete a membership form.
Membership of the GCC is free.
As detailed in the GCC constitution, a person is eligible for membership of the GCC if the person is at least 16 years of age and one of:
(a) lives in the Gungahlin district;
(b) owns property in the Gungahlin district;
(c) works in the Gungahlin district;
(d) conducts a business in the Gungahlin district; or
(e) has been duly appointed to represent a social organisation or interest group servicing the Gungahlin district.
Or download the GCC MEMBERSHIP FORM and return it via email (secretary@gcc.asn.au), by hand at a GCC public meeting, or post to the address at the head of the form.
You can CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP at any time.
