Traffic Safety Issues in the Gungahlin Town Centre
November 2002

At the October 2002 public meeting of the Council the Chief Minister (Jon Stanhope MLA) undertook to commission a study (through ACT Roads) into the safety issues regarding traffic arrangements in the Gungahlin Town Centre.

The terms of reference for the study were that of a point in time "snap shot" of the current situation and focusing on immediate safety issues (but unfortunately not the longer term underlying planning issues).

The Council made the following submission to the consultants (RD Gossip) engaged to undertake the study on behalf of ACT Roads.

The report from this study is available on request from the Council.
